1. Our commitment
Miracle Infoservices, the operator of Getmesoon, prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form. We do not tolerate content, conduct or accounts that sexualise, endanger or exploit a minor — anyone under 18 years of age — anywhere on the Service, whether or not that person uses Getmesoon.
We comply with applicable law, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
2. Getmesoon is strictly for adults aged 18 and over
The Service is not directed to children and minors are not permitted to create an account or use it under any circumstance. We enforce this in several ways:
- A date of birth is required at registration and is validated on our servers. An account whose date of birth indicates the person is under 18 cannot complete registration.
- Once a valid adult date of birth is recorded it cannot be edited by the account holder, so an account cannot be created as an adult and later changed.
- The app is rated for adults on the app stores, and we ask the stores to restrict distribution to users they have determined to be adults.
- Where we have reason to believe an account holder is under 18, we suspend the account pending review and may require age verification. Accounts confirmed to belong to a minor are terminated and their data deleted.
3. What is prohibited
The following are banned without exception:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any image, video, audio, drawing, animation or computer-generated depiction that sexualises a minor.
- Sexualising a minor in text, including sexual descriptions, requests or role-play involving a person under 18.
- Grooming — building a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes, or attempting to arrange sexual contact with a minor.
- Sextortion — threatening to publish intimate imagery of a minor to obtain money, further imagery or any other benefit.
- Trafficking, advertising, soliciting, purchasing or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Off-platform links, codes or references that lead to CSAE material or services.
- Creating a profile using photographs of a minor, or presenting a minor as an account holder.
These prohibitions are additional to, and enforced alongside, our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
4. How to report
Anyone can report a concern — you do not need a Getmesoon account, and you do not need to be certain. We would rather review a report that turns out to be nothing.
In the app
- A profile: open it, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report.
- A post, Reel, Story or comment: tap the ⋯ menu on the item and choose Report.
- A message or a call: use Report from the conversation or the in-call menu.
- Select Child safety as the reason so the report is routed to our priority queue.
- You can also Block the account immediately; blocking does not withdraw your report.
By email
Email info@getmesoon.co.in with the username or profile link and any detail you can give. Please do not attach suspected CSAM — describe where it is and we will retrieve it through our internal tools. Forwarding such material can itself be an offence.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In India you can call the national child helpline 1098 or the emergency number 112, and report online at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, cybercrime.gov.in.
5. What we do with a report
- Reports flagged as child safety are placed in a priority queue and reviewed by a trained member of our moderation team, not by an automated filter alone.
- While a report is under review we may restrict the reported account, hide its content and prevent it from contacting other users.
- Confirmed violations result in immediate and permanent termination of the account, removal of the content, and blocking of the associated device and identifiers to prevent re-registration.
- We preserve the account data, content and associated logs as evidence for the period required by law, even where the account has been deleted.
- We report apparent CSAE to the appropriate authorities, including law enforcement in the relevant jurisdiction and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate with lawful requests for information.
- We notify the reporting user of the outcome where we are permitted to do so. We do not disclose the identity of a reporter to the reported account.
6. Prevention
- Profiles and uploaded media are subject to moderation, and accounts that accumulate reports are escalated for human review.
- Users control who can message and call them, can make their account private, and can block or mute any account at any time.
- A hidden-words filter lets users keep unwanted terms out of their inbox.
- Location shown to other users is deliberately coarsened to a wide area before it leaves our servers; the app never reveals a precise position to another user.
- Our moderation team receives guidance on recognising grooming behaviour, age-misrepresentation signals and sextortion patterns.
7. Point of contact
For any matter relating to these standards, including enquiries from regulators, law enforcement, child-protection organisations and app store operators:
- Child safety contact: info@getmesoon.co.in
- The Grievance Officer, Miracle Infoservices — support@getmesoon.co.in
We aim to acknowledge child-safety correspondence within 24 hours and to act on confirmed reports immediately.
8. Changes
We review these standards regularly and update them as our Service, the law and industry practice evolve. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
